An experienced health and care leader with over 20 years’ experience from front line to senior manager. With a clinical background, she is experienced in operational management, quality and safety and clinical governance, quality improvement and commissioning. Claire has led change and improvement at various levels including: whole system pathway re-design within mental health services working in partnership with local authority and VCSFE; reducing variation in care both on a regional basis (e.g. cardiovascular disease); delivering Trust wide strategy to reduce patient harm and variation in care; and managing the full range of community health nursing and therapy services. 

Claire has a passion for stakeholder engagement and developing shared purpose and co-design supported by data driven improvement methods that delivers outcomes focussed, value based, sustainable change that delivers improved outcomes for patients and the public.
