NHS

Originating in 1990 as an NHS shared service, MIAA is now the largest in-house provider of internal audit and associated services to the NHS. Operating predominantly in the North West and surrounding regions, we also provide services across the UK.

Local Authorities

We support local authorities in a variety of ways, including working alongside their in-house teams, delivering a fully outsourced service and in some cases as a specialist service provider (e.g. Technology Risk Assurance). With flexible models, our partnership offer brings additional capacity and capability.

Primary Care

Our understanding and expertise across whole pathways has supported primary care for many years. We bring extensive knowledge of strategic developments, as well as organisation and national guidance. This includes independent primary care contractors (e.g. GP, Pharmacy, Ophthalmic), social enterprise, independent sector and Primary Care Networks.

We provide a full and comprehensive assurance service to our Blue Light clients including:

We provide a full and comprehensive assurance service and consultancy support to the charity sector. This has ranged from internal audit services at a local level through to clinical quality reviews for a large national charity.
