Alex is a qualified chartered accountant who brings a well-rounded and results-driven approach to NHS finance, underpinned by experience across provider finance, audit and assurance, and several years in the Solutions business unit. Alex’s background in provider finance has given him a deep understanding of operational and budgetary pressures within healthcare services, along with experience in audit and assurance which has strengthened his analytical rigour, governance insight, and attention to detail.

Alex has experience of providing services to with the wider public sector including local authorities, emergency services and housing. Alex is particularly passionate about developing and implementing cost-saving plans that not only achieve financial targets but also protect and enhance service quality. Alex works closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, challenge existing processes, and ensure sustainable financial performance aligning with the organisation’s priorities.
