Ken is Director of Delivery Finance & Corporate Performance within MIAA solutions with specific focus upon financial sustainability projects, support to cost improvement programmes and providing leadership and oversight to large at scale finance projects across our wide client base.

Ken returned to the public sector when he joined the NHS in 2010 following a successful career in the private sector within manufacturing, Insurance, financial services and retail, having previously worked in local government and higher education where he started his career.

Ken has worked for several NHS organisations within the Northwest across both the commissioning and provider sectors including a number of Deputy Chief Finance Officer positions within CCG’s.

Ken is a qualified accountant, being a member of CIMA, and has a deep understanding of NHS financial reporting policy and regulations and is passionate about the role finance has to play in improving healthcare and ensuring the NHS returns to a more stable financial footing.

Ken also has a keen interest in developing the local NHS finance community, having been a member of HFMA for over 20 years he currently sits on the Northwest branch committee, he is also part of the Skills Development Networks towards excellence finance assurance group.

Ken is married and whilst originally from Liverpool, has lived in Warrington for the past 22 years. Outside of work Ken enjoys football being a keen supporter of Liverpool FC, he also enjoys music and likes going to concerts and especially spending time in the Lake district walking his two Labradoodle dogs.
