Chris is originally from Yorkshire, but moved to Liverpool in the early 90s where he qualified as an accountant at Liverpool JMU. Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the NHS, mostly in senior roles including Chief Executive and Director of Finance at the Walton Centre.

Chris is passionate about health and public sector services and has a wider interest in health and wellbeing. In addition to his extensive finance and senior management experience, Chris qualified as an Executive Coach in 2015 and specialises in personal resilience. Aligned with this, Chris is passionate about sport, and personal fitness. He is a keen runner, walker, cyclist and when possible, skier!

Chris is married with two daughters. In addition to running, his main hobbies are watching rugby league, music (both listening and playing) and when possible, spending time with his family at the beach in North Wales, or walking in the Lake District.
