MIAA Digital teams receive their Level 3 Accreditation

MIAA's Digital Teams were formally awarded the Digital Skills Development Network’s ‘Towards Excellence in Digital Standards Level 3’ accreditation at yesterday's Connect Conference. This is the highest level of recognition in this national framework.

This accreditation is part of the NW Skills Development Towards Excellence programme, which celebrates NHS organisations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to digital standards and workforce development.

Achieving Level 3 signifies:

  • Advanced digital competence across the organisation.
  • A strong culture of continuous improvement in digital skills.
  • A deep commitment to staff development in digital roles.
  • Successful completion of a rigorous peer-assessed validation of digital standards and practices.

Tony Cobain, Digital Director, shared his thoughts on the achievement:

“We are extremely proud to have achieved Towards Excellence in Digital Standards Level 3. The assessors were particularly impressed by the positive and unified culture across the team and the success and impact of our intern programme. They also commented on the evidence that there is strong sense of shared purpose and alignment across the team.

This is a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work, commitment, and important contribution we make to the organisations and communities we support.”

About the Accreditation

The Digital Skills Development Network accreditation is peer-assessed and requires organisations to demonstrate evidence of capability and good practice across a wide range of criteria — all aimed at supporting the professional development of digital staff.
