The fit and proper persons requirement (or FPPR) is a statutory requirement for all care providers registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure the suitability of all their directors and those acting in an equivalent capacity.
MIAA has produced this Fit and Proper Persons considerations checklist to support NHS organisations in ensuring that they have sufficient and effective processes and governance arrangements in place for FPPR.
If you would like to discuss how MIAA can support your organisation, please contact our Executive Director of Assurance, Louise Cobain or call her on 07795 564916.
