We are supporting our clients to fight the ever-growing risk of cyber fraud, raise awareness of the wide range of fraud threats that exist both inside and outside our NHS organisations, and the promote the importance of everyone reporting fraud.

MIAA has a large team of dedicated and highly experienced anti-fraud specialists and accredited investigators, drawn from a variety of backgrounds, and we have a very successful track record in not only preventing fraud from occurring but also in prosecuting offenders in the courts.

MIAA’s Anti-Fraud & Investigations Team has been providing a service to the NHS and other sectors across the North-West and further afield for over 20 years. We provide a range of proactive and reactive services that help our clients combat the menace of fraud, bribery, corruption and other financial crimes, including cyber-enabled crimes.

If you suspect fraud and bribery, you can report it to your local MIAA Counter Fraud Specialist.

You can also report fraud anonymously via the NHS Counter Fraud Authority Website

• If you receive a phone call that you believe to be fraudulent, hang up.
• If you are suspicious about an email you have received, forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk.
• Suspicious text messages should be forwarded to the number 7726 which is free of charge.
• If you believe you are the victim of a fraud, please report this to Action Fraud as soon as possible by calling 0300 123 2040 or visiting actionfraud.police.uk
