The Clinical Coding team deliver high quality courses, developed both by NHS Terminology and Classifications Delivery Service and by the team themselves (often in collaboration with the Lancashire Clinical Coding Collaborative). A schedule of training is provided that can be booked via Eventbrite. All events are delivered over Microsoft Teams, unless specified otherwise.
This four day workshop aims to build on previous understanding of the human body, looking at each system in depth.

This three day workshop supplements the National Clinical Coding Standards ICD-10 5th Edition and OPCS-4 reference books in order to further develop the knowledge and skills of clinical coders.
This workshop will provide a good grounding for those who, whilst having coding skills, have not specialised in this area before. It also acts as a refresher for those already coding in the specialty as the ICD-10 and OPCS-4 sections are enhanced by additional information aimed at giving “specialist” coders extra tuition in the codes covering general medicine work.
